Website measurement

I use first-party statistics to understand which projects are viewed and whether visitors use the CV and media links.

What is recorded

The date and time, portfolio page, page language, broad device category and source category such as LinkedIn, ArtStation, search or direct. Actions include clicking the CV, LinkedIn or ArtStation links, starting a video and opening the gallery. Each action is recorded at most once per page load. Query strings, full referring addresses, message contents and contact email addresses are not sent to the analytics service.

Daily visitor estimates

The server temporarily processes the IP address and browser information to produce a keyed daily pseudonym. The statistics database stores this pseudonym, not the IP address or complete browser information. It changes each day. No analytics cookie or persistent browser identifier is set, and visits are not linked across days or other websites. These figures estimate visitors; different devices or networks and shared connections affect accuracy.

Storage and access

Mateusz Zych controls these portfolio statistics. They are processed on the website’s Cloudflare hosting infrastructure and stored for a rolling 90-day period. Older records are removed when new measurements arrive. Only the portfolio owner can access the dashboard. Website hosting may separately process operational logs under its own policies. Contact form
